Bring your own coding agent

Back to the code editor

Your assistant can read one adult sandbox project, learn the runtime, and propose JavaScript changes. Proposals appear in the editor for review. Applying a proposal changes only the editor; use Test and Save when ready.

1. Save an adult project

Sign in with a verified adult account. Save or open a project in your own library. A blank saved project is fine. Agent access does not include child projects or account management.

2. Connect your assistant

Add this remote MCP server URL in an MCP-capable assistant or coding agent:

https://calculagames.com/workspace/mcp.php

Use the assistant’s OAuth connection flow. CalculaGames will show the requesting app, its return domain, and a list of your adult projects. Select one project and authorize it. Each connection lasts up to 30 days. An assistant may require a custom connector setting, developer mode, an administrator’s permission, or a supported subscription.

For Gemini CLI, a typical remote-server configuration is:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "calculagames": {
      "httpUrl": "https://calculagames.com/workspace/mcp.php"
    }
  }
}

Use your client’s MCP authentication command or connection prompt to authorize the server. Exact setup depends on the client version.

Project-token alternative

In the editor’s Connect a coding agent panel, confirm sharing the current adult project and create a project token. Put it in your client’s protected header setting as Authorization: Bearer YOUR_PROJECT_TOKEN. Do not paste credentials into a chat, a game, or a public repository. The token is shown only once and expires after 30 days. Disconnecting it invalidates access immediately.

3. Ask for a proposal

Use CalculaGames to read my authorized project and its sandbox reference.
Build a playable game using the supported JavaScript canvas runtime.
Read the relevant helper-library source if you use it.
Send a propose_code tool call with the exact saved revision and SHA-256.
Explain the change, and leave applying, testing and saving to me.

Keep the editor panel open. Pending proposals refresh automatically while visible, or use Refresh. Compare current and proposed code, apply or reject the proposal, then Test. If you or another tab changes the saved revision, ask the agent to read it again and make a fresh proposal. Unsaved editor edits are never silently replaced. Undo last applied proposal is available until you edit the result or change projects.

Available tools

There are no tools to execute code on the server, edit account data, access a family profile, save a project, or publish a game. The preview retains its existing network-blocked sandbox.

Plain HTTPS API

Agents without MCP can POST JSON to https://calculagames.com/workspace/agent-api.php with the same project token in the Authorization header:

{"operation":"read_project","arguments":{}}
{
  "operation": "propose_code",
  "arguments": {
    "base_revision": 1,
    "base_sha256": "THE_SHA256_RETURNED_BY_READ_PROJECT",
    "request_id": "a-new-unique-request-id",
    "summary": "Explain the change for the creator.",
    "code": "ctx.fillStyle = '#078bb5';\nctx.fillRect(20, 20, 100, 100);"
  }
}

Source is limited to 200 KB. Use the same request_id only when retrying the identical proposal. There can be at most 20 pending proposals per project, with request and connection limits. Proposals expire after seven days. This integration supplies no AI model and makes no model API calls; your chosen provider processes the project content you explicitly share under its own terms.

Disconnect

Open the editor’s connection panel and choose Disconnect beside an agent. All of that connection’s access and refresh tokens stop working. Password resets and account deletion also invalidate access. You can review existing proposal text after disconnecting until it expires.
